Tamale Making Day

That's right, this Saturday at Casa Garcia, Bell. If you can make it, it will greatly effect the tamales that you get to take home.
On a serious note, we were thinking about starting to divide the cost of materials to make the tamales (masa, husks, veggies, meat) among the 12 immediate family members of La Familia Garcia. In the past the costs were paid generously by a few family members. But in these woeful economic times, we believe that it would be better to spread the cost among the family.
Also, Christmas will be held at Casa Hermosillo, Norwalk. I'll post some information regarding time, food, and other pertinent stuff.
